By using our website, registering for or reserving our classes or events, or purchasing any services from Fallsview Arts (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the terms outlined below.
By registering or submitting payment, you agree to all Fallsview Arts Policies & Guidelines. Please read the following policies carefully.
Studio Policies & Guidelines
Registration and Payment
To enroll in classes, workshops, or events, you may be required to:
Provide accurate personal information
Complete payment at the time of registration
Acknowledge any relevant policies or waivers
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
Instructor & Model Policies
Fallsview Arts has the right to substitute instructors or studios for any class, camp, or workshop.
Fallsview Arts reserves the right to substitute life or portrait models for any reason.
Minimum Enrollment
Each class, camp, and workshop requires a minimum number of students to run.
If minimum enrollment is not met, the session may be cancelled or postponed.
Material Lists
Before purchasing supplies, please confirm that your class is running (see minimum enrollment policy).
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available for purchase.
They are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
Private Events
Private events require a non-refundable $100 deposit.
Retail / Supplies
Art supplies purchased on-site are non-refundable and non-transferable if opened or used.
Studio Paint Policies
No food is permitted inside the studio.
No spray paints or fixatives may be used indoors—outside only.
No painting rags may be left inside the studio.
Easels, stools, and tables must be left as clean as possible after use.
Solvent Use & Handling (Oil Painters)
Permitted solvents and mediums include:
Gamsol
Liquin
Linseed oil (or similar)
Used solvent must be taken home in your personal jar.
Unused amounts must be stored in clearly labeled containers and disposed of during your municipality’s Hazardous Product Collection days.
Brush Cleaning
Oil Painters: Fallsview Arts currently has a carry-in, carry-out policy.
Acrylic Painters: Brushes may be washed in the sink. Please do not dispose of dry paint in the sink.
Tools & Equipment
Some classes may require the use of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic tools.
Upon registration, it is assumed that Fallsview Arts is released from any liability in the event of injury.
Attendance & Missed Classes
If a student misses a class, they may make it up in a similar class during the current session, space permitting. Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy, are subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Missed classes do not carry cash value and are non-transferable.

Weather-related closures and rescheduled classes are governed by the Weather & Emergency Closures policy section below.
Holidays & Schedule Notes
It is the student’s responsibility to take note of holidays or studio closures.
Inclement weather make-up classes will be scheduled at the end of the session or whenever possible.
If make-up dates are unavailable, students may take a make-up in another Fallsview Arts class during the same session (space permitting).
Student Property & Documentation
Fallsview Arts is not responsible for artwork or personal property left on the premises.
We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Fallsview Arts may photograph or document classes, events, workshops, camps, and student artwork for promotional purposes.

Student Behavior
Fallsview Arts reserves the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate or disruptive behavior without refund.
Liability Waiver
Upon registration, it is understood that:
Fallsview Arts is not responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings.
Art classes may involve physical activity, tools, and materials that carry risk.
You voluntarily participate with full understanding of potential injury or property damage risks.
You, your heirs, and legal representatives agree not to file claims against Fallsview Arts for injuries, property damage, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Typographical Errors
Fallsview Arts is not responsible for typographical errors in any policies, pricing, printed materials, brochures, website content, online registration listings, or emails.
Refund & Cancellation Policy

Fallsview Arts is committed to maintaining fair and consistent policies for all participants. Please review the following terms before enrolling.
General Policy
All registrations are final once submitted. Refunds, credits, and transfers may be available as outlined below.
Cancellations by Participant
Classes (multi-week sessions)
7+ days before start: Full refund or full credit
Less than 7 days before start: 50% credit only
After session begins: No refunds or credits
Workshops & Events
72+ hours prior: Full refund or full credit
Less than 72 hours: No refund; credit may be issued at our discretion if your spot can be filled
Private Lessons
24+ hours notice: Reschedule without penalty
Less than 24 hours or no-show may result in forfeited payment
Cancellations by Fallsview Arts
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any class or event.
Participants will receive:
A full refund or
A full credit for future use
Weather / Emergency Closures
Snow Day / Weather Closure Make-Up Disclaimer
In the event that Fallsview Arts must close due to inclement weather or other emergencies, the studio may schedule a make-up class at a later date, at its discretion. Students are expected to attend the rescheduled class.
If a student is unable to attend the designated make-up date for any reason — including personal scheduling conflicts, travel conditions, or subsequent weather events — no additional make-up, credit, refund, or transfer will be provided.
If the studio must close for weather or emergency:
We will notify participants as soon as possible
Makeup classes or credits may be provided at our discretion
Make-up opportunities, when offered, are subject to studio scheduling and availability, without guarantee.

Injuries resulting from participation in classes
