Alexia Papavasilakis

Alexia Papavasilakis is a New York based draftswoman and illustrator. Primarily a figurative artist, her style blends classical and contemporary techniques to achieve an end result that is both timeless and applicable to numerous areas of the contemporary art world. She has taught figure drawing, anatomy, and comic book classes at the New York Academy of Art as well as West Nottingham Academy. From her achievements in “the white cube”, to comic books, to teaching, Alexia’s work has been recognized and celebrated by a variety of spaces in the artworld.
