What Is Drop-In Figure Drawing?
Drop-In Figure Drawing at Fallsview Arts offers a professional, uninstructed session where artists can practice drawing from a live, posed figure model in a calm, respectful, and creatively supportive environment. These sessions are open to adults and experienced teens who want dedicated time to improve gesture, proportion, anatomy, and observational skills through direct study of the human form.
What to Expect in Each Session
You’ll work through a mix of short gestures, medium poses, and one extended pose, depending on the session. Bring your preferred materials — graphite, charcoal, conté, ink, toned paper, or digital tablets are all welcome. Easels, drawing boards, stools, and excellent lighting are provided.
