Teen Drawing & Painting Classes
Ages Middle School & High School • All Levels Welcome
This studio-style class is designed for middle and high school students who want to strengthen their drawing and painting skills in a supportive, individualized environment. Whether students are complete beginners, developing a personal artistic style, or preparing work for high school or college portfolios, instruction is tailored to each artist’s experience level and goals.
Students are taught independently within the group setting, allowing beginners to build strong foundations while more advanced students continue refining technique, observation, composition, color, and creative expression at their own pace. Instruction may include drawing from observation, value and shading, perspective, color theory, painting techniques, anatomy, still life, landscape, and personal project development.
This class is ideal for students seeking ongoing artistic growth, additional support alongside portfolio preparation, or simply a place to develop confidence and technical skill through consistent studio practice. Emphasis is placed on learning how to truly see, think, and work like an artist while encouraging creativity, discipline, and individual expression.
Students work in a welcoming studio atmosphere where curiosity, experimentation, and skill-building are equally encouraged.
