Late Fall Art Classes Start November 2

Our Late Fall session runs Monday, November 2 through Sunday, December 20, and enrollment is open now. Monday classes meet for seven weeks. Thursday through Sunday classes meet for six, since the studio is closed Thanksgiving weekend, November 26–29.

Early Fall wraps up Friday, October 30. If you're continuing into Late Fall, this is the week to save your spot — our classes stay small so every student gets real, individual feedback.

What's on the schedule

Late Fall brings back weekly classes across every department:

A workshop to start the season

Illustrator David Lusardi opens November with Digital Drawing on the iPad, a two-day workshop on Sundays, November 1 and 8, from 11 AM to 2 PM. It's an introduction to drawing and painting in apps like Procreate. Bring your iPad and Apple Pencil.

Open sessions for independent practice

Want time with a model or the studio without instruction? Our uninstructed sessions continue through Late Fall: Open Life Figure Drawing, Open Portrait Model – Long Pose, and Open Studio Hours. Our roughly monthly Sunday session, Open Drawing: Model in Costume, offers three hours of themed, longer poses for $30. Dates are on the calendar.

Looking ahead to Winter

Winter 2027 begins January 4, and it brings something new: Figure Drawing & Anatomy: Long Pose, an instructed class with Alexia Papavasilakis that runs in four-week mini-sessions. The model holds one pose for all four weeks, so you can carry a drawing all the way through with guidance on anatomy and structure. The first mini-session meets January 7, 14, 21 and 28, from 1:15 to 4:15 PM. Details are coming soon.

How to enroll

Register online from any class page, or use our preferred option: pay by cash, check, Zelle or Venmo for a lower rate. Missed a week? Our flexible make-up policy has you covered, and full session dates are on Session Dates & Holidays.
